Follow a complete workflow to import, measure, select a target, correct and export a compliant file.

Install and activate

  1. Open the DMG file.
  2. Drag Conform LUFS into Applications.
  3. Launch the app from Applications.
  4. Use the 7-day trial or enter the serial number supplied after purchase.
Licence: one serial number activates one Mac. Internet access is required to start the trial and activate a licence.

Import your files

Drop an audio or video file into the top-left area, or click Open…. The session lists its format, duration and sample rate.

  • Select the file you want to check.
  • Add several files for batch processing.
  • Always keep the original source file.

Run the analysis

Click Analyse. Conform LUFS measures integrated loudness, short-term loudness, loudness range and true peaks.

  • I / Integrated LUFS: average level over the complete programme.
  • S / Short term: level over a short window.
  • LRA: programme dynamics.
  • TP / dBTP: maximum True Peak level.
Meter colours make scanning easier, while the numeric values remain the reference for delivery.

Select a target and process

Select the preset for television, cinema, radio or streaming. The LUFS target and True Peak ceiling follow the chosen standard.

In Master Strip, prepare the processing with EQ, compression, tonal shaping, dynamics and stereo tools. Save the chain as a preset for later projects.

Check compliance

Open Compliance to check the file against the selected target. Compare before and after readings, then listen to critical passages with the transport and waveform.

  • Check the difference from the LUFS target.
  • Confirm that True Peak stays below the ceiling.
  • Review dynamics and stereo balance.

Final checkThe waveform, readings and before/after comparison support delivery validation.

Export and deliver

Click Export, select a destination folder and create a corrected copy. The source file is never replaced.

To create several deliverables from one master, use Multi-Master and select the required standards.

Before delivery: analyse the exported file again and confirm the LUFS, LRA and True Peak values required by the broadcaster or platform.
